Why is Tinubu alone being targeted? This is something I can't understand. He doesn't control the police or the Army, why him alone!
The president of Nigeria has nothing to say despite all the violence going on.
It is time for this country to peacefully end.
They feel tinubu had a hand in that attack at lekki toll gate. The cctv being removed, also the light being turned off just before the attack.
People are of the opinion tinubu owns that toll gate and his revenue stream was being interrupted so he called the soldiers.
Notice anything seen as his has been attacked. Eg nation newspapers, tvc, brt busses, oriental hotel etc.

They go and damage an investment like that forgetting it provides employment to many. How is a hotel business in this instance your enemy for crying out loud.. If the hotel closes business for good , would they find jobs for the disengaged employees...
Unemployment is already bad and these guys are just making things worse by shutting down businesses .
Foooooool.....losing a job and wasting innocent human life's, which is better?

Had it been one of your family member were part of the unharmed protestants killed at lekki, I don't think you'll be here saying this trash.

Can you imagine, property over lives! Idiot.

Tinubu is Lagos. The state has been under his iron grip for 20 years without meaningful development.
Many of us experienced what good governance was in 4yrs of UPN in second Republic. They built schools(not renovation) with free tuition to university level, built hospitals, roads, housing estates for the masses, and employed teachers, doctors etcl with lesser allocations and internally generated revenue.4years of Jakande can not be compared with 20yrs of Tinubu

Lasu is the most expensive public university in Nigeria today,a school established by Jakande to provide education for the poor.a good number of medical doctors in Lagos are contract staffs.

He decides who gets what in Lagos and exhibit so much arrogance as if he is God.

I am not PDP or a politician because I don't believe in western styled democracy for any developing nation
We should be fighting for separation from Nigeria now either through war or referendum.
Enough of this balderdash called Nigeria where the worst govern and lead the best.
Nepotism, Ethnocracy,Quota system and all sorts of balderdash are the order of the day.
Enough of these pains and sorrows...

He obviously doesn't own the Lekki toll plaza. Someone gave the orders for the soldiers to shoot the protesters, it is very important we know who that person is. But all that is being lost in going after Tinubu.

Nemere2020:
Western Metal Products Company (WEMPCO) Group, owners of Lagos Oriental Hotel, has denied insinuations in some quarters that it is owned by the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement by Taiwo Alli, Executive Director Corporate Affairs, Wempco Group the hotel’s management said:

“Western Metal Products Company (WEMPCO) Group, owners of Lagos Oriental Hotel, formally acknowledges that there was an attack on our property on October 20, 2020, when hoodlums armed with guns, knives and bottles, forcefully gained entrance to our facility, assaulted some of our security personnel and damaged properties.

“Unidentified individuals whose motives remain unknown to us have gone to town with a rather unfortunate narrative claiming that the Lagos Oriental Hotel is the investment of politicians, thereby exposing it to unwarranted attacks.

“Lagos Oriental Hotel is owned by the WEMPCO Group with 99percent shareholding. The WEMPCO Group of Companies was founded by businessman and entrepreneur Mr. K.F. Tung over fifty (50) years ago.

“The Lagos Oriental Hotel is a flagship in the Nigerian hospitality business but is not a flagship of the WEMPCO Group. It is an investment made by the Group in 2008, but not part of their core manufacturing business.

“At present, WEMPCO Group provides jobs for over 25,000 young Nigerians, affording them the opportunity to earn a living and gain useful experience. It is therefore unfortunate the attempt to disrupt our business and tarnish our image painstakingly built over the years.

“Speaking on the development, the Managing Director, Mr. Lawrence Tung noted that ‘like other responsible businesses operating in Nigeria, Lagos Oriental Hotel is hopeful that closure will be brought to cases of injustice identified in the country. It is however important to protect our businesses from unwarranted attacks by individuals who may not be aware of the facts around our existence.

‘We are fully cooperating with the authorities in their investigations into the remote and immediate causes of the incident that occurred on 20, October 2020 and assure our numerous clients and partners that we are working to ensure that normalcy returns to the hotel.”

Sadly though these envious IPOB urchants are not interested in the ownership or otherwise of the facility, all they are interested in is to deface Lagos, mission accomplished

divide and rule tactics by the north to continue dominating and enslaving us here in the south in collaboration with tinubu is a a very unfortunate thing...we youth in the south holds ourselves the responsibility to remain united as they know a united south will bring an end to norther domination down here...we need to be smart and focus in this struggle together to gain total and absolute freedom from this lot....a united south is a prosperous south...we stick together we get very formidable

Oga. If you can't pass your message without being abusive there is no need for this discussion.
What is the correlation between losing jobs and wasting lives. So because lives are wasted , other people's means of livelihood should stop.
Please invest and open your business and request for rioters to come and burn down your business and see how it feels.
