My opinion is that the President believes he still has the support of the northern masses/elites behind him, so he has the ethnic card like a bed for him to sleep on. This explains why he is so calm- ethnic joker card(North vs South) Secondly, the revenue/food for him is still flowing- crude oil. Buhari will react immediately, if suddenly riots or protests starts in Kano(his support base/bed) and two if Niger Delta Militants bring their threats to pass to start attacking oil installations/facilities. He will address the nation immediately if these scenario plays itself out, as his base/bed is broken, and food for energy/power for him is cut off. Another less potent threat will be from National assembly leadership, which is impossible, as those ones souls are sold out to money. Homextras: Niger Delta youth, please do not go and destroy your oil installations in the name of protest. A better option is, . You can go there to shut down all operations, close every valve that pump grude oil, close every well and tell all staff to evacuate site with immediate effect. mount guards around those places to prevent vandalistion. The region may need those installations when the country splits. Our mumu don do. |
