Now the protests are gradually coming to an end, what has been achieved? Who are the biggest winners and who are the losers. 1NORTHERN NIGERIA: northern Nigeria as a whole was largely peaceful with few or no records of looting, vandalism and death. They must be laughing hard right now. 2 SOUTHERN NIGERIA: well, the protests went South and was hijacked, living scores dead, shops looted, livelyhoods lost, banks destroyed, police stations burnt, inmates released. 3. POLITICIANS: Well, so far so good. As expected, the angry masses left the people that put them into misery and were killing themselves. No politician or politician's child was harmed in anyway, surprise, surprise. Not even one. They must be laughing hard right now. Will the masses go after them in the future? 4. THE COMMON MAN: well the low class and middle class will be affected in no little way, there are already reports of fuel price going up. As expected, the supply chain has been distorted and prices of commodities will definitely skyrocket. Lagos BRT buses burnt(I wonder if any politician uses this bus). 5. BUHARI: not disturbed, his cows intact. 6.SARS: disbanded, in my opinion, I think police brutality will significantly reduce as a result of this protest, this is the only advantage I can spot in this whole exercise. WAS THE PROTEST SUCCESSFUL?
