Candle Night For Fallen Heroes Of Lekki Massacre by Sleemut09(op): 10:10am On Oct 24, 2020
Good morning everyone!

It’s been a crazy couple days we’ve hit our low low and trying to get better psychologically! After the unfortunate horror that had happened with our beloved brothers and sisters we lost in the struggle to a better Nigeria, an end to police brutality and many more! May their souls rest in eternal peace.
After days of our struggle then lekki horror happened. President of the Federal republic of Nigeria in his speech failed to recognize/address our struggle properly nor acknowledge the loss of our slain comrade. That was a huge psychological blow which had reduced our moral to dust! Then we had to look forward to what next? We obviously can’t continue to do same thing over and over expecting different results! I think we have to come together and outline a plan! Yoruba people do say “towo Eni obate eku ida! Akiiibere ikutopa BAba eniii” as soon as we take away the power they have then we can have the nigeria we dream of but we can’t do that going forward protesting on the streets like we did in the past! After the lekki killing! They gave us a mission, they gave us objectives! And we shall achieve our long last dream!
I’ll advice we hold an 8 day Tribute for our known slain heroes not the one in our national anthem! If your close to Lagos or in Lagos Just go to lekki drop flowers and raise candle in the evening! If your not in Lagos! You have a common ground where people lost their lives hold the tribute there and we do a video of it let the whole world see! If you’re in your house do a short video like 20 seconds in memory of those you know and lost to police brutality do the tribute with candle then do a video collage and show to the world what that meant to us. We have to fire back psychologically even if our government is trying to hide and deny all that happened! We surely need show the world that night happened!
That will be core of our burning flames!
And we channel it to our plans!
We have to be discreet about our plans going forward too! On the outside they should see us as unserious generation! Phone pressing generation and clowns that we are while serious work is going on underground! They won’t know what’s about to hit them nor what’s coming at them. We have to take the power! And create the nigeria we all dream of! But we have to play their game and beat them at it! We outnumber them, we are smarter than they are, we have youths in all part of professions! Collectively we can achieve greater things they don’t think we can! What we’ve show (unity, level of coordination, level of transparency and all) that we’ve shown the past days of peaceful protest! It’s incredible! We have to belive in ourselves ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

A governor summoned that fallen heroes of Lekki should be immortalized.
We urge the teaming youth populace to pay obeisance to the blood of the holy protesters.
Their remembrance and pain will clamour a better Nigeria.
