We Can't Grow Together. Let's Break Up This Country For A Better Tomorrow by Rich4god(op): 11:19am On Oct 25, 2020
I used to be a proponent of one Nigeria, but with the recent events and accusation, it's best for us to go our separate ways and save the life of our unborn children and for a better future. How can people try to instigate violence against a particular set of people just so that they will exonerate themselves and be seen like saints in the eyes of other.

What annoys me most is that those who are even educated and should desist from such baseless accusations are even the ones spreading it.

Just on Wednesday my Yoruba friends kept telling that why is ipob destroying Lagos. Then I begin to wonder what will give them such mentality. How can ipob have the numeric strength to effect the damage that happened in Lagos. No doubt, Igbos have a reasonable population in Lagos, but how many of them are ipob members? How many of them are out for destruction to the extent that almost half of Lagos state was under chaos.? So let's assume it's even ipob members that are causing such destruction, so with all the agberos in Lagos, with all the omonile, with all the NURTW members, with all the Yoruba youths in Lagos, non of them where able to man up and resist the ipob members. Except you want to tell me that Lagos can easily be overran by touts.
How can ipob attack Lagos, Oyo and Osun, how many members do ipob have.

And before you say Nnamdi kanu did a recording, we all know that Nnamdi is an opportunist, he can easily key in into any mayhem and claim to be behind it. It's not difficult releasing voice recording into the internet.

On another scenario, on Friday, in the midst of Hausa people, another one just said to me that why are Igbos causing trouble in this country, and I asked him what happened. He told me that in Enugu Igbos are attacking Hausa people. Then I asked him for evidence, he showed me a picture of trailers and cars burnt along the road. Me am from Enugu, I quickly called my friends over there, but what they told me was that they youth are attacking and burning everything that they can lay their hands on irrespective of who owns it. But then, I was surprised, why does he have to attach tribal sentiment to this issue. I asked the guy, the bank that where looted in Enugu, was it owned by Hausa man, the local government office burnt, was it owned by Hausa man. Why does he have to make such comments in the presence of Hausa people just to pitch the Igbos me the Hausa.

When Hausa thugs where attacking innocent protesters in Abuja, why didn't they said that Hausa people are looking for trouble. All the cars that those thugs burnt in Abuja, nobody call out Hausa people. Even last year when those same thugs attacked Deji Adejanyu in Abuja, nobody called out Hausa people.

When the protest was peaceful in Lagos, nobody said iPod youths are the one protesting. Everyone was saying Nigerian youths. Immediately the violence started they now tagged it that it's Igbos who are looking for trouble. If the hatred is that much, let this country divide let everyone go his ways so that there will be peace.

Just because you want to remain relevant to Hausa people, you push blame on Igbos. Well, am not surprised, it was same thing that Tinubu did when he tried to exonerate Fulani herdmen from kidnapping in southwest by asking whether Evans was a Fulani man.
Make I rest my case.

Your ideology is great but sadly lands can not be moved....hence it will all degenerate to nations rising against nations and by then the problems would have escalated to war.

I don't know why there is so much hatred between the east and west. The unity of this two regions would have been the catalyst for development in this nation, but it's like all the force are out to divide them. I remember when there was controversy about having an Eze ndi Igbo in one of the south west start. All of them where shouting on the net that it's not possible, that it's an insult to the oba of the state, that u can't have two kings in a state. But right here in the northern state where I reside, there is a mini palace with a bold inscription of Sarkin Yoruba... there is also Eze ndi Igbo in the state. So why the fuse down there when we are supposed to be united.

Your brain is working correctly, don't mind the idol talkers, the nation is already divided because it has never existed without tribalism.

Who would we tell to tell the Yorubas to stay out of British politics, as many of them are in county parliament?

You are a deep greedy man.

The only way for this to happen is if you have Odua republic...which you are scared to death to have.

Who has ever moved land in formation of country or nation? Where do certain people rest their airhead when issue of disintegration of shithole called Nigeria arises? I do not give a ratass if Nigeria is divided into 350 countries as long as Republic of Igbo land is one of the emerging nation states. I have stated numerous times that Nigeria will never grow as configured. It is unfathomable to recount a moronic fools had the effrontery to give silly quit notice to fellow Nigerians to vacate from a place developed with commonwealth.

If you are talking about political post, how do u want to be elected when you don't have the population. There is a part of Enugu where the hausas have population and some of them are counselors there. If you have population, you contest and your people will vote for u to represent them.

Just same way the Muslims from middle East are picking up post in the US, cos their population is growing there.

What numbers do you have to compete in my region?

If you have the numbers of course you can contest and win. In your region you threaten people not to contest.

If you want to do it by yourself...why not support those who wants to leave. instead of begging python dance to help you.

Take it from me(I know you won't) the Yorubas that I know don't have your time. They are not interested in your kind of businesses. Yorubas believes in the philosophy of live and let live. I still don't understand why the Yorubas and Hausas have clashes.

But when it comes to politics........ They are crazy.

Let us divide Nigeria and go our separate ways and stop giving each other headache
Re: We Can't Grow Together. Let's Break Up This Country For A Better Tomorrow by Rich4god(op): 12:09pm On Oct 25, 2020
For me, if we can be united as a people, then I will prefer the nation stays together. But the division is much and it give rise to frequent killings.

I have lived more than half of my life in the north. Some of my best friends are northerners and we have helped each other. When one of them got admission for masters in UNN, he lived in my father's house for almost two years and he never had any issues when he was there. He was even telling me that he was surprised to see the high population of Hausa living in that part of Enugu.

Just yesterday I went to a friend's wedding fatiha in Gwarzo. When the guy introduced me to his dad, the man was surprised that despite the recent crisis and tension in the state, I still have the mind to come over to there village to attend his son's wedding. That this is the kind of friendship he likes seeing among the youths.

Bullshit.t . Your secret has leaked. We all know how you directly and indirectly shut out non-indigenes out of the South East.

I have seen alot of articles testifying to that. You all know how to rally against Non-indigenes. But if others do it, you will call them evil.

President Muhammad Buhari is truly not the root of our problems

The president is a secondary cause but our immediate leaders from ward counsellors, LGs chairman, state assembly representatives, Commissioners, federal assembly representative, Senators and generally political appointees at the local and state levels should be our major and primary focus in attempt to redeem the country

This is why some unguided persons will leave their failure of a leader in their native states but come to Lagos and abuja to demand good governance. Charity begins at home

Not until when we first demand accountability from these set of persons do we have the justification to call out the president

VOTE WISELY

You are my headache already because today alone you have spammed the politics section with threads on how Yorubas hate Igbos.

As someone said on another thread, you are doing verbal violence against the Yorubas. Makawhy?

It's obvious you didn't read my post. This thread was as a result of the issues that happened recently. Was it an Igbo man that said that it was ipob that was destroying Lagos? How is that statement not an attack in the Igbos.

When Tinubu said, "was Evans a Fulani herdmen, what do you think he was insinuating.

I will never understand why these same people that characterize Igbos as leeches on society also like supporting the "One Nigeria" mantra. Like why don't they also support Igbos being expelled from the Nigerian state.

Like why can't South East and the majority Igbo villages and towns in South South areas cam just be expelled from Nigeria as its own country.

Because why do you think they are in Lagos in the first place?. When Ghanains were flooding into Nigeria in the 70s and 80s as soon as Nigerians no longer wanted them here, they were easily expelled.

If you are really tired of Igbos coming to your land. Give them their own country and expell all of them there. Hell, even build wall around Igboland and be happy that you will never see them again.
