Ma'am please provide the evidence to support your claim.......

Non photoshopped pictures,
video +/- oral conversation accounts
Affidavits

Otherwise hold your piece.
Don't bother to reply with curses or abuses.. As they all stay with you in multiples!!!!

No to emotive outbursts with no proper evidence.. Which has been the manner of some people in this forum

We as a nation need to self-police and expose elements within, who fester on fake news merchandise!!!!!

We say to the government, not to pass the false information bill, not to take away our right to information and free speech, that we can self-govern but........... can't curb fake news merchants within - a principal reason behind the bill.....

Wake up people..
Enough of all this nonsense
People have lost lives, businesses and all that's good and proper on the back of stoking unnecessary fires......... And despite the destruction, some online miscreants carry on trying to perpetuate anarchy by peddling ill-researched news to support their agendas!!

Enough is enough!!!

Are there so much individuals affected?

I hope it will not be another avenue for govt officials / publics to exploit the system?

Kindly look at the non-photoshopped pictures of wanton destruction alongst some of the streets in Surulere, The shopping centres in Lekki, Falomo shopping centres.. Certain there are some that are yet to be fully publicized.

Whatever happened to business insurance schemes ........... Oops, I forgot..........

They handed it over to Jesus, Mohammed & Sango.......

The government should use this as a lesson to force businesses to be insured. Even if na vehicle type of #5000 naira premium grin

Heard most insurance policy doesn't cover civil unrest as it's only available at a premium. So, probably not affordable for most of them.

That premium fee chargeable, is the difference between high blood pressure, leading to a stroke or cardiac event or the ability to sleep with both eye's closed......

Safe in the knowledge that, you are fully covered.......... cheesy

IF YOU GIVE EACH AND EVERY OF THE 2200 BUSINESSES 100M EACH IT WOULD AMOUNT TO 220BN LAGOS WOULD BE LEFT WITH 780BN TO HANDLE REPAIRS SO IF SPENT WELL IT WOULD ACTUALLY GO A LONG WAY
100M naira, you haven't really seen the level of destruction and some of the businesses involved. What about destroyed buildings? Remember, there is no 1 trillion fund yet. That is just a proposal.

This is the more reason to find out who ordered the army to shoot protesters. The person that gave the order should pay for these including going to jail. If Bubu then ICC awaits him at the Hague

This is the more reason to find out who sponsored the social media propaganda. He/she must pay through their nostrils.

Wrong analysis. This is a black mail on protesters. Have you seen free road in countries where massive protest takes place. Every occurrence is a direct result of failed leadership from successive governments.
It will be so because the rate of illiteracy is also appaling

2,200 Ki la gbe, ki la ju. I know many who have no prior business and those who weren't affected will apply. Some will even do so to frustrate government effect. Even participant of the looting will apply. Government should embark on physical inspection and collation of evidence immediately.

Dont compare Nigeria where 99% of hoodlums won’t be able to eat if they don’t enter the street to developed world where their hoodlums are drug barons and wealthy, blocking the road was a mistake because it rendered the hoodlums useless so they had no choice than to join the protest
