Buhari has destroyed this country totally. We have no president at all. What we have is puppet who couldn't even differentiate between his right and left. May God help us. 2023 is too long to be in this present state.
People forget that Buhari is presiding over a failed state with no police right now.

People turning the police is their protest against authorities of which NPF is their most oppressive face.

But people are too sectional and foolish to say the truth. If not for FALZ who tried to articulate.

The mistrust has been there for long. It was Amotekun first. But SW that brought Buhari to power are too proud and double speak as usual to admit their terrible mistake of supporting Buhari.

I don't like the extortion on the streets but to be realistic; it's like that because we don't have law & order that's functional.
Moreso, it's an expression of the Nigerian poverty stricken landscape.
If we have a buoyant economy where they're adequately paid, most won't have reasons to extort.

The job of the police is is to make sure law and order is functional, if they can't do that they should lose their job. We can't go back and will never go back to the old ways where I will be in fear of my life because one trigger-happy policeman wants 50 naira at an illegal checkpoint.

Demanding better of the police is a step towards fixing Nigeria because all sectors that have been doing rubbish without consequences will have to sit up.

Omo, me personally don't have problem with them doing their job. We will only have problem when they are.not doing their jobs.

In an age where tech is supreme. They are so many ways to fight crime. Not that one where you just be mounting road block without cause or doing stop and search when nobody has complained of anything missing.

They will public transports flouting rules but will leave that to disturb private cars cos that's where their money is. Rather than arresting hoodlums, they will be beefing well dressed and styled innocent citizens.

Its wrong. No policeman in Nigeria has the will to tell his colleague that what they are doing is wrong rather, they will be rigmaroling left and right trying to avoid enjoining issues.

So if they want to work, they should work. If they are not interested, they should allow fresh blood into the force. There are enough people who are willing to.

IGP should be called upon to implement the "no work no pay" rule on any officer that fails to show up at work.

We asked them to endsars and police brutality not to stop work.

Some people need to be made scapegoats.

It seems as if you never watched the numerous videos of police stations burnt, and police men killed. Where I stay in Ibadan (Ojoo), the police station was burnt, and 2 police men were burnt alive. I don't think any police man would want to be in public right now.

Police have to be teached some lessons to understand that their cluelity and atrocities on human can never be tolerate any more and should behave themselve well and made some changes before resuming their dudy to avoid future choas and crisis.

The people are SUPREME,
That's how it should be,even in the Bible when the leaders of the Jews wants to misbehave, they will behave because of "fear of the Jews"
Let fear of the Jews be in Nigeria.

A lesson well leant. they lost their lives, citizens also lost their lives and prosperities as well. they are the architect of the whole problem. If they refuses to resume their duty, a doctrine of necessity will be imposed on them.
If they are resuming, they should resume as a born again with the basic tenet of policing. As such, we shall be come their friends like their motto is.

They have a responsibility to the people that they are paid to protect. End police brutality and extortion, not end work. Our taxes pay their salaries and if they don't want to work then resign.

As it stands IGP Adamu is an unequivocal failure and should step down for someone who knows what they are doing to take over.
