You can't stop him from dropping to the midfield. I think that's why Koeman played Griezmann. While Messi go to do his marauding, Griezmann will be waiting to poach, that's if he can.

I'd have preferred Countinho doing the Griezmann job. When you have two playmakers going at that crazy Italian defense, it opens them up and creates space for Dembele or Fati (when he comes on) to wreck havoc. And both playmakers would cause several red cards and fouls against the opposition. But Countinho isn't fit to play tonight.

We all know that Griezmann and Barcelona are a total mismatch, but at least, let the coach implement something that will play to his strength.

We don't counter attack at all. The players will rather wait for the opponent to regroup than make a counter... If we counter, at least Griezmann might finally find something that he is good at.

I wonder which top club doesn't counter. We have a speedster in Dembele and we don't utilize it.

He's not been bad, like that, but I'll love to see Fati on the left and let Pedri take the middle.

It's painful we there's no creativity that's why Messi drops deep. We need more bodies to support Dembele.

BTW, can someone tell me what De Jong's role is. I'm not complaining, I want to know. Because we don't have a constant creative mind in the middle.
