BREAKING: Osun Govt Relaxes 24-hour Curfew by Babtech001(op):
Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola has relaxed the 24-hour curfew order imposed on the state for the second time.

This was contained in a statement released and made available to Featured24 on Wednesday.

According to the governor, the curfew is now to run from 6 a.m to 8 p.m.

The statement read; "Following the review of the security situation in the State, we've decided to relax the 24-hour curfew declared last Saturday to avert breakdown of law and order. Effective from tomorrow, Thursday, October 29, the curfew will run from 8:00pm to 6:00am daily, until further notice.

“This means members of the public can now go about their activities between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm daily. Security operatives will however be on ground to enforce the new curfew directive, as part of efforts to maintain law and order across the State.

“I commend citizens and residents of Osun for their understanding and cooperation in the last few days. I urge you all to continue to be peaceful and law abiding. As a government, we will continue to make efforts to protect the lives and property of our people.”

He himself knows he has no second term is Osun.

Both the lockdown and the curfew were unnecessary punishment of the masses for politicians' selfish purpose.

Lagos where houses and properties were burnt relaxes curfew after 2days. Just because people took indomine and polititians constituency empowerment items, you locked down the whole state for a week. Forcing hunger and hardships on people. Most homes hasn't stocked up before the announcement.you sent military to start humilating people at ilesha, and other places. This your method of night communication like armed robbers calls is suspicious self..thank God it's over, but that was too harsh

I didn't know there was another massacre of peaceful protesters in Osun. Get in touch with DJ switch to help you create new video and publicize it. Some violent thugs were looting people's business and wreaking havoc and you are complaining about curfew. The governor did well.
