Opuru Fulou (Lobster Soup) is a very popular ijaw delicacy in Bayelsa state prepared mostly by the Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA people.

The soup is very nutritious and delicious as it contains fresh sea foods.

Ingredients

Fresh Lobster

Snail

fresh fish

Isam (periwinkle)

Ogbono

Pumpkin leaf (Ugu leaf)

cray fish

fresh pepper

onion

red oil (palm oil)

salt

seasoning

I remember when I go village for my dad's burial... chai! them wan wound me with plantain on the side of everything wey them give person chop...chop EBA o,plantain for side(with plenty fish) rice- plantain...everything plantain dey added....even if u wan chop plantain them still add plantain... plantain and plantain. lol...but I enjoy am...especially the fish...wey them dey scatter inside soup...na fish I take dey eat Eba...I love that place sha.
