Hello Computer gurus,

Please, how can one fix the following error appearing on a Dell laptop screen?

It was dropped roughly, and it developed this.

It doesn't get past this notification screen.

Kindly help!

Not from the BIOS but the cable connection. Also, reconnect the cable to both HDD and board.

Thank you for the feedback. But my HDD doesn't have cable... It's a fit (male and female insertion) e.g pictures below �

With the information you gave, the hard drive is stucked due to shock. If after trying to reload a fresh OS on the laptop and you still experience booting challenge. I will advice you replace the hard drive and reload a fresh OS. You should be fine afterwards.

Guess all programs and files will be gone?
