One important step towards moving this team forward is to start Resting Messi. No matter how we all want to gloss over it, Messi has been more bad than he has been good this season.
What Messi is doing is borderline insanity. Why should a 33 year old player be playing every single minute? If this can't be addressed, then we should be expecting this Messi throughout this season.


I just feel like Messi should be given two weeks off. He should watch, observe and see how he can be more useful to the team.

Messi's contract since 2016 had a clause which is "to play every game unless stated otherwise by the player". Make I no open his yansh too much for here.

I agree.....he needs to rest a little. Baba has played full 90 mins In every official game since lockdown for club and country. It's only natural for him to stressed out esp mentally. We're atop our group in UCL, let him rest the Kiev game out and come as a sub against Betis or not play at all sef cus he's still got CONMBOEL with Arg the next week and then atletico after that.
