Please this is not one of those tribe disinformation on Nairaland.

I took my time comfirm this info from multiple sources in Rivers state and march with narratives on twitter.

On the 20th of October ENDSARS protesters storm the streets , moving from road to road going towards ELEME demanding for an end to police brutality.

When some people, civilians like them stopped them and denied them passage. I comfirmed from multiple sources and my sources said those who stopped where of the Hausa extraction. (I don't know why, but their actions must not be unconnected to the narrative that the ENDSARS protest was political motivated, and heavily influenced by now proscribed succession ist group IPOB

Their actions didn't sit well with the protesters as they felt they being denied passage through their indigenous land.

The fracas quickly resulted to violence, in the process one life was lost. An Hausa Man

The protesters tried taking the Hausa man's body back to Oyigbo where they were coming from. (I was not told what they were trying to do with it).

On their way, they met resistance from people in Yam Zone Market, which is largely populated by the Hausa tribe.

The yam zone got burnt, so far I've not been informed of a lose of life in this particular fracas.

That night people kept guard in their community fearing a reprisal attack from the hausa community.

That same night on October 21st of 2020 Ezenwo Nyesom Wike
Governor of Rivers State declared a 24hr curfew that is yet to be lifted.

As was expected the Hausas came for a reprisal attack that night. I confirmed from multiple sources, and they say they came with the military (Nigerian Army) shooting sporadically. As a result of this lives where reportedly lost pictures below

The next day, being 21st of October 2020
The Hausa community took to unleash violence, and destruction of properties, around elelewan, oil mill axis. The narrator of one the videos can be heard mentioning Biafra, i understand Hausa I don't know what he said..

Popular GSM market in eleme was burnt and looted by the Hausas in A Reprisal attack.

Lalasticlala

As at the time of this reportage people are fleeing Oyigbo (the worst hit by the Crack down)

I can comfirm 10 civilians have lost their life so far since 20th of October, and media is kind of blacked out.

cheesy

I work in Afam.

Those protesters first burnt Oyigbo police station, burnt Afam police station, burnt Afam court, and killed one policeman,

And then headed to Aba road, towards oil mill to confront the hausas and started burning their shops and attacking them.

Stop fake news.

This above is the timeline of the events of 20th October 2020.

What kind of unbelievable statement is this? The Hausa should have allowed the hoodlums parading as endsars peaceful protesters to loot their hard work? Didn't the Igbo protect their wares too in Lagos?

You killed one of them and you are lying to cover it up..... Smh you are evil

INDIGENOUS LAND MY FOOT, THEY ARE NIGERIANS AND ANY NIGERIAN CAN BE ANY WHERE THEY WANT INCLUDING EAST AND SOUTH

This thing was going to get bloody the moment arms and ammunitions were carted from the police stations burnt and the killing of security forces.

Do all these and what you get is the Army coming for you.

Our people just don't think at all.

Was Oyigbo the only place they burnt Police station? The madness in Benin and Lagos was worst than that in Rivers, yet we didn't see Police retaliation. Whether IPOB or not, Wike has made a fool of himself by allowing the security personnel do as they wish. It was the same nonsense he did in Onne with Stanley Mgbere. Inasmuch, as I dislike IPOB, any security operative that carries out extrajudicial killings on civilians should be arrested, prosecuted and hanged. We can not be protesting against EndExtrajudicialkillings and yet some idiots are allowed to carry out killings at any given opportunity. What happens to arresting people? What are the courts made for in the first place? Any animal carrying out a new wave of Odi or Zaki-Ibiam anywhere in Nigeria must be made pay for it.

On what authority is Wike deploying the army against the residents of Oyigbo? Of course nothing but hatred and genocidal inclination against the agitation of a self seeking separatist group. The atrocities of Oyigbo is not up to what happened in Lagos or elsewhere though still condemable. So why the senseless killings?

Wike issued a curfew for their own safety, yet they violated it, he initially never supported EndSARs protest stating it would be Hijacked
