Messi possess Superb creativity with eye for insane assists but last night assist wasn't one of such. Dembele had to take the ball forward and score via a deflection so don't talk like the cross field pass set him up the box with a genuine chance or 1 vs 1 situation.

Stop over exaggerating every normal thing your favs do in a game to sound objective. Dembele's goal was more of his own personal effort than it was messi's genius. EOD

These criticisms might be easily trumped by Messi's other outputs such as his work rate like dropping deep to create chances and the likes.

It doesn't mean these criticisms are not true or should be overlooked. Messi loses the ball, sometimes, a lot in matches. This is undebatable.
You might say it doesn't matter but for others, it's annoying.

You defended Dembele. Yes, he hasn't played much but the boy's decision-making can be terrible like in Turin.

You claim Messi has taken over 70% of the teams shot and he hasn't scored. This is the same guy that drops deep to create chances and makes things happen. What about the other attackers playing? Your stat simply highlights the bluntness and one-sided nature of barca attack with only Messi aiming shots while the rest of the team(including other attackers) can boast of less than 30% shot.

Doesn't that sound like our attackers need to start stepping up? Yet you single out Messi as the only faulty attacker not scoring from open play.
