In our own case, we contributed 20k per household to buy a new transformer, buy new poles and cables, yet nothing can be refunded from phcn. All we get paid is huge estimated bills.

We pay for Government inefficiency in Nigeria.

Estimated billing is criminal, and must be rejected in all entirety. Your cannot blame someone for your lapses and inadequacies!

Yeah with prepaid meter you can monitor usage. I gave my workers target of no more than 10 units a day. I have not used half of ₦7k worth of units I bought 8th of October. This is supprising because my estimated bill was 40k+ monthly before I got my meter!

Forget whether prepay meter owners can control their usage O! My monthly budget for light was 12k, with this new tariff that 25k transportation to Delta state was 5k early this year and now it's 11k yet no increase in salaries

I am so ashamed of our so called labour leaders. They threatened to strike last month and the government called them for "dinner" and the strike threat disappeared. Government went on to hike pump price of petrol and "suspended"that of electricity tariff. Like a thief in the night" the government yesterday brought the so called labour leaders to a midnight"dinner/breakfast"after the meal, electricity tariff has now been hiked. How do you hike electricity tariff with no corresponding meters to calculate the billing? You hiked that of petrol and the consumer can watch the dispensing and attendant bill on a meter, you hiked electricity tariff and the average consumer will simply get a dirty piece of paper , concoted in a dirty office , purporting what he consumed in a month and forced to pay. Honestly, we live in a primitive society. What a shame!!!

Before the introduction of the new tariff which was suspended, we've never had more than six hours light a day and we were grouped in Band C. Now through out October, we did not have more than one hour light and and we will still be grouped in Band by PHED. The flash the ligh and that's all for the day. The highest in a day is not more than 3 minutes

They've started it already na. On The last bill i recieved, the consumption and rate had both tripled. They even increased my opening balance from the supposed 135NGN i was owing to 1655NGN.
