Kaduna electric band B last month paid 61.50 per Kwh. These guys use us that are willing payers to cover for their brothers who don't pay at all.

The government and the disco's are deceiving the masses. I use a postpaid meter and the increment has been done since September. For September bill, a unit was charged for ₦53.02 band C. So hearing the government, say by November 1st the new rate will take effect from this month is disheartening. Government of deceivers and fail promises. No hope for this country i swear.

This is just silly & heartless from the regulatory body.

Those without prepaid meters should have been excluded from any tarrif hike until the prepaid meters are provided.

People have paid for prepaid 3-4 years but are yet to receive.

Someone on prepaid uses about #4000 a month while someone without prepaid on the same street or even building receives bill of #24000...

Yes PHED is really heartless, they increased our bill from N20,000 to N38,000. It's really sad and annoying.

Is it not same hiked electricity bill we paid last month? I wish we all decides to stop paying the bills and use the money for fuelling our generators. When they start seeing people want their electricity, they will come begging. Just like they did with innoson group

Am staying in a one room self contain in ajao estate and am charged 43678 thousand just for SEPTEMBER

NLC has failed us

But the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC), said it was yet to revert to the new price. Its spokesman Busolami Tunwase said customers will be notified “when we want to commence”.







IBEDC have started this implementation.. last month my rate went up from 24.95 to 58.39.

I called their customer care number to verify this but nobody pick the call..
