What will happen if a state governor and his deputy and the leader of the state house of assembly are assassinated? Would there be a new election. If yes, would those that failed in the last election permitted to contest again?

Haba, they can't all die at the same time now and if such scenario happens, let me too Stay here and learn, my intuition may be wrong

Lets assume they were assassinated at the same time.

I think the State House of Assembly will nominate a house member as interim Governor (deputy speaker most likely). The the political party of the deceased governor will nominate candidates to be Governor and Vice Governor-The candidates that came second at the parties primaries elections will automatically emerge if there was a primary.

No new election. Am not sure though

The Deputy Speaker takes over in the interim, whilst the Electoral body set forth another election to take place within 90 days.
