[s]We don't fail JAMB, my friend. Not having the highest scores is not the same thing as failing, provided you meet cut-off mark. If I score 340 in JAMB for universities' admission that require only 180, you can't call that a failure, even though someone somewhere scored 350.

My assertion is not even about who has the highest score in Jamb, it's about interest in trade. Maybe I should put it this way: asides education for both Igbo and Yoruba; while an average Yoruba man's interest is in vocation, that of an igbo man is in trade.

I know many Yorubas in the east offering their vocational services. After each project, they come back home. But as a trader, you've to settle at your market base. And as you do, you want to have a house of your own, you want to expand your coast.

In essence, it's just the nature of what we do that determines our moves.

So like I already said, enjoy the market that Lagos offers. Make your money and maintain decorum.

Peace be with you![/s]
Sharrap dia.

If yerrowbas loved education so much (and other occupations that require you to be smart), then their children should be topping the charts. Intelligence is hereditary.

No matter how much money you spend on a yoruba child's education, it will all be to no avail. You can't compare igbos to yerrowbas when it comes to IQ.

Yerrowbas can never succeed in an igbo dominated market. they just don't have the thinking facilities for that.

None of those universities in nigeria carry top 1000, so it's all wasted effort.

Intelligence is hereditary. If yolobars are going to the best universities then their children should be topping the charts on WAEC and JAMB.

Those saying soyinka didn't write this should ask themselves one simple question. Is there any lies in that write up?

I condone your arrogance; you probably have not gone beyond South-East!

Observe the post you quoted and nonsense you write here, which is more sensible? Is this bad, unclear English you wrote here your measure of high IQ?

Go and sit down somewhere and improve on yourself!

I should keep mum?

UNN could have been a thriving university, but the FG abandoned it because it's in the east.

lol!

I thought you were ready for a witty brawl. But seeing that you struggle to put a coherent statement together, I knew this is just another wonderful fellow who needs to be condoned for his ignorance and delinquency. Sorry!

Yes, there are touts in the Southwest, the way it is in the Southeast and every other region in Nigeria. Indeed, touts and hooligans are banes that we must tame in our society.

I have been to Onitsha and Awka before and my experience was nothing to write home about. Yet, I wouldn't because of these few miscreants berate my great Igbo people: now, that is decorum and mutual respect at play.

As an Igbo man, I have no reason to hate you because you are a human created by God. All that we need to have a cohesive society is just discipline and mutual respect!
