Kayaking Across The Lagos Lagoon by travelwaka(op):
I love anything adventure this is why Kayak is one of the things I added to the list of adventurous things to do in Lagos. Kayaking is a form of watersport where you can row the kayak across a water body.
I have done the Kayak across multiple locations in Lagos and my most interesting experience was from Ikoyi toward Victoria Island/Lekki.

Just in case you are looking for something adventurous to do in Lagos. Welcome to the adventure club.

I will be sharing safety tips, where you can rent a kayak in Lagos, how to kayak etc

But First I would like to get you to know what a kayak is. See pictures below

Re: Kayaking Across The Lagos Lagoon by travelwaka(op):
There are about four places where you can do Kayaking in Lagos

1. La campagne Tropicana beach
2. Omu Resort
3. Lagos Kayak at Ikoyi
4. Kampari Tours in Lekki

The Cost of Kayaking varies from one destination to another. Between 500 at La champagne to about 4,500 at Kamapari tours

My first experience was at La champagne beach, I loved the experience but La champagne is a 3 hours journey. The second experience outside La campagne was at Lagos Kayak with the Lagos Google guide team. It was another beautiful experience. We moved from Ikoyi towards Lekki and Victoria Island.

The third one was with Kampari Tours and I will be sharing more pictures from the event

So It was a weekend and I decided to do something adventurous then boom I was off to Lekki the location of the kayaking. The environment looks really nice, it was located close to a jetty. So apart from the kayak, you also have access to a beautiful view of the Atlantic.

As an experienced Kayaker LOL I understand the rules and these are some safety tips

1. Ensure you properly strap your life jacket
2. Make sure you sit right on the kayak
3. Ensure your follow the safety rules
4. Do not panic stay relaxed
5. If the current is too hard, do nothing just relax
6. When you see a speed boat approaching stay out of its way.

Guys this is one of the most amazing things you can do in Lagos, I know some of yall are already thinking what if my village people. Most of our fears are in the mind. Even if something goes wrong and you fall in the water. You won't drown, the lifejacket would help you float and There are lifeguards on duty.
