If you haven't gotten your own miui 12 update, try using mifi to connect to your phone mobile network then go back to your setting and check for the update that's exactly what I did now it it worked.

Yeah, i noticed you tend to get an update notification faster if you are on wifi than on normal mobile networks

Still waiting for redmi 9 update though

Bro... I have a redmi 8.. I just updated my phone, and Android 10 showed up... but no MIUI 12.. pls how do I go about it..

I didn't see any update even with mifi

check if it's V12 You updated to go to your settings click update and check the current update

No much difference!
Even Android 9,10,11 don't have much difference!
I've observed that updates dey shack una too much

Bros, I don check am oh... na V11.. 11.0.3.0.. abeg I wan ask one question... since I updated phone yesterday.. na all sort of things I dey see... my 3rd party media app wen Dem dey play music or videos the sound. m.. really bad.. but if I play WhatsApp status the speaker go dey sound well.... abeg wetin I fit do? na still the update they cause this problem.. even the eq settings nor work sef

Miui update is better than android update. You will get new features that is not in normal android update.
