I do not understand the issue of US Navy SEALS is been reported as if the act was committed on Nigeria soil. The kidnapping of US citizen was carried out in Niger Republic and kidnapper move to Nigeria because of our porous border in North East then US government signal Nigeria government if they can rescue their citizen through Nigeria soil.

Which signal? You must be joking. You think they don't know that your president is a grand patron of terrorists?

My question is why does the Nigeria military disgrace it self time and time again. When I look at some things, I'm always perplexed. Why must they always deny every allegation or tag it fake news. My head still reels about the American hostage that was rescued, this shows that our military are almost completely useless. How can you explain the kidnapping that took place in Niger and was brought into Nigeria? does that mean our border is so porous? don't we have border patrol or customs? how was American soldiers able to enter our airspace without the knowledge of NAF? and they carry out an operation on our soil without our knowledge. If the US govt. hadn't come out to thank our govt. for their help (which is ridiculous to me) would we have known of such operation? I do not mean to derail this thread but I can't help being confused seeing the evils that thrives in this nation daily.
by the way I'm just a kid who knows nothing...

They actually violated Nigeria's territory by landing troops in northern Nigeria. But what can you do? ~ NOTHING!
You have failed to properly equip the army, so America will not wait for our incompetent, Boko Haram infested army to rescue their citizen.

America probably simply wanted to send a subtle message that no part of Nigeria is beyond their reach. Because some people think they can hide in northern Nigeria and threaten them with "body bag" statement. Just know if they really want to erase you, you will be erased.

We are saying the same thing..... Nigerian army shouldve led the operation but they didn't because they are incompetent and value face saving more than work. Since naija army couldn't do the job, competent hands came in and did it....

Why should we allow them to come into our territory for a rescue operation, can we do that to them? What prevents our army to go for that operation and hand back the victim bck to the USA?

Buhari is a disgrace
Last time I hear naija army "wasted" both the American hostages and the kidnappers. Lol.
