We construct Bio digester (Modern Sockaway). Quick to install. No waste removal. Little maintenance. Odorless. Little space required. Doesn't contaminate ground water. Check my signature.

The quantity of water and precautions to take

The quantity of water and precautions to take
use string inject clean water into the vial, enough water to dissolve the vaccine. Shake vigorously until it dissolves. Draw up the dissolved vaccine and inject it into a 4-litres drinker filled with water. Mix vigorously and share the mixture in 4 drinkers (1litre each). Serve the birds with it and observe to make sure they all have a drink.
But before you do all this, starve the birds of water for 2hrs atleast so that they will all be thirsty when you serve them the vax. Also make sure you administer the vax at the early hours of the morning before sunrise.
Be careful not to spill the vaccine in the pen. Withdraw the vaccine 30mins latest after administering

So about a month ago, I ordered for 150 agrited birds. When they came in I was crazy angry because of their disheartening small size and frail look. I went to work anyways putting them in a warm conducive place and feeding them adlibitum.

The pictures you are about to see is 4wks later. Average weight of 1.05kg and 4% mortality.

Thank God I didn't raise the 400 birds I wanted to initially. The cost of feed is outrageous at 5k/bag

I will take them to the market and busy places. I intend to start selling at the first week of December and with atleast 4 selling outlets I'm of certain selling them off before newyear. The predominant price here at Christmas is 4k but with the leap in price of feed, I guess I'll sell for 4.5k....agrited gains weight rapidly due to their good food conversion ratio (fcr)

I spent about N85000 in raising 51 birds. N25500 on a carton of agrited doc, N45000 on 10bags of fees, N15000 on drugs, charcoal and miscellaneous. I started selling at the 5th week for N2500/bird.

Note that the cost of breeding must have risen as a carton of doc is now about 35k.

Big boss
I can see the first birds u rested developed faster than the second one
At least u got 1.3kg at 3rd week. And 3kg at 37days.

But this one highest was 1.1kg at fourth week

Could u plz tell us what went wrong

And secondly u said u spent 15k on drugs, charcoal and miscellaneous
But to me u spent average of 10k on drug

Could u plz tell us d names of d drugs and how u administer them
Cos to me I used gumboro, lasota and multivitamin, blood tonic
I also used glucose the first three days they bring them
Thank u for ur usual honest reply
And lastly when u lay ur hands on good formular

I couldn't achieve the feat I achieved in the first birds because I didn't pay much attention to them because of my tight work schedule. Hence there were cases of disease outbreak which hampered there growth.
The 15k is not only for drugs. It includes cost of woodshaving, transportation etc. The drugs I used was amintotal, centre cipro, amprolium, tylodox and the vaccines

the detailed attention you gave to the first set of birds was closer than the second set...

Kudos brother you are doing well

They don't look weak, they eat well. Though some sleep while eating but apart from that they eat well. Whenever they see me coming with their food, they chase after me.

Its just this watery stool that is giving me concern.

They are 3months old
