Early lead with little margin is a poor indicator for democrat.

As more and more of those in-person votes are counted, the president will slowly, inexorably claw his way back.

Imagine! So it's not by advertisement. It's like some people have die hard following. With the way the mainstream media hate Graham, you will think he will lose.

Afamed:

Each state has election supervisor. And each state is independent. In Florida for Example, as soon as the votes are counted. Assuming Total votes are 3m. Democratic has 2m while Republican has 1m. The total Electoral college votes in Florida is 29. So the 29 electoral college votes go to Democratic. The 1m votes for Republican is rendered useless. It's a case of winner takes the whole electoral college votes in each state. In Pennsylvania now, the electoral college votes is 20. After, the whole votes in Pennsylvania. Any candidate between the 2 takes the whole 20 electoral college votes Same apply to 48 states in US.
However, the total Electoral college votes in US is 538. A candidate must secure 270 to be the President.
The 538 electoral college votes are shared among the 50 states in US. Based on population and other factors.
When a Candidate wins a particular state, he gets the total number of electoral college votes alloted to such state.
Just 2 states out of 50 only share the electoral college votes according to votes proportion

Mehn, thanks for the explanation. It's an awkward voting system though
