LOL. This is old nau. I saw this too when I was waiting for PPR earlier this year. I remember we analysed it and we seemed to agree that the officer was overzealous (and possibly a Nigerian). I'm sure people have gone on to get PPR afterwards using NYSC. So make una rest. My sister used NYSC and she's here
in Canada already.
We are talking about now but if it is a hoax..better. But folks should do better with their apps.

Thank you very much, he's very rude on this site.
I've had a run in with him before.
Snide remarks here and there.
Very unnecessary and unhelpful
Just because he is capable of getting funds without a gift deed, he's making other feel apprehensive not to mention his condescending tone about the NYSC. My cousin is over there and he mentioned his NYSC in his application. He even uploaded his certificate.
People need to learn to be empathetic on this site.
The ITK and rude countenance is becoming unbearable.

Prettiepearlz:

You seem to have an issue with the fact that people are using NYSC. When this same NYSC has been used by various permanent residents. You somehow chose to ignore the fact that the applicants weren't truthful and also the GCMS notes is the VOs opinion which can be overturned and contested. Instead you decided to focus on negativity, smiling and happy. Do you derive joy causing confusion? How about you bring out various applications with NYSC that has been accepted? Don't take this personal but you really need to chill. Positivity is the key and if you can't be, please be mute and don't say anything at all because you are not helping anyone with this gloating and causing more unnecessary questions. Do you also realize that VOs read through this thread and could be seeing your gloating as you confirming that all NYSC applicants are truly fraudulent people? And here you are trying to make an insinuation about gift deed again. I am sorry I have to do this but it's been long overdue, you really need to chill. There are genuine people willing to use their experience. It's a job experience also. You have your experience without having to supplement it with NYSC, congratulation, but remember not everyone is privileged like you. Be at least more positive and if you can't, please do us the favour of being quiet in situations like this. Sorry if you feel offended, however it is the truth and can be a bitter pill to swallow.

To everyone: Funny how this thread has gone into the hands of wrong advisers. Miss the days of Tospmamen Joo2018 Newmum0615, Adunnee, LadyMarshall, Yemiblaze, Ifeoma77, etrange, the two prominent people known for marking PPR scripts and a host of others whom I can't remember their moniker. I am sorry but SOME set of advisers on here seems angry at the world for something I don't understand and if you pay attention you can be discouraged. Someone seeks for solution, they know they don't have a solution, they will quote and write epistles blaming and blaming. The thread is no longer enticing to visit.

Even me self tire. Just because you are able to provide pof without any assistance, doesn't mean others would be able to do so too. Getting 3 years experience (without nysc) and being under 30 is not so easy for some, hence they have to include nysc. Some seemed ecstatic about that gcms note. Why? You like it when people have issues? Nawa sha. God should just bless our individual journies. So we can be free from negativity and gloating.

I said people shouldn't be mentioning nysc and uploading discharge cert..no be me write that case note.

Oga, I mentioned NYSC and uploaded my discharge certificate as well as my reference letter from my PPA (which explicitly stated that my job was part of the NYSC scheme) and the VO didn't find anything wrong with that. In fact, I used my NYSC job as my primary NOC.

Each application is peculiar. Please stop generalizing issues, thereby misleading people and creating unnecessary panic.

This happens. Sometimes, one's application can be approved in 3 months, it will take another 3 months to get PPR mail. These IRCC pple eh. But congratulations are in order. Yayyy. Just remain calm and keep up with your prep. If no mail in maybe in a month or 6 weeks, ask again.

Hello

I called IRCC and the agent confirmed my application has been approved but i havent received the email of COPR. Has this happened to anyone and how long does it take for them to send to my email.

Thank you

Thank you Prettiepearlz. I knew something was fishy. There's no way VO will know its NYSC if you don't mention it. Just get a letter head from your workplace and and get the duties, date intact. You are good to go.

We can't say NYSC experience is useless. Quite hilarious, to say the least.
Does this mean the person don't need to include the alawee bank statements? Because Nysc is there.

Lol. Don't mind them. How do they expect a 22 year old or 23 year old with one year experience and 50k salary to afford his own personal 10k dollars proof of fund, so gift deed is the only logical wayforward. If he has it on his own, eyebrows should be raised sef.

You people spend time bickering and using smileys instead of helping people. Gift deed or not, NYSC or not, no two applications are the same.

Right now isn’t the time to be smart mouth, provide help the best way you know it and that’s all.

For those who have made it to Canada, may God’s favour continue to find you. For those yet to, I pray your application goes smoothly.

Permutation, combination and computation on IRCC’s action helps no one though.

I see no reason why NYSC should be mentioned even. Get your ppa write you a detailed letter-head work reference. Also make them state and take ownership of the total salary NYSC.
Some offices will insist on mentioning that it was nysc (Like the place I served). They will outrightly refuse to give you the letter if nysc is not mentioned. Also, even if you don't mention nysc on the ref letter, if you submit bank statements, nysc will be boldly written on it, except you were paid separately by your ppa and can use the direct ppa payment, and not a huge percentage of people were paid directly by their ppa. So in the former situation, what should people be advised to do?

As prettypearlz has said, no need to scare people off. Just be honest with your application, and be accurate with dates and duties.

Haba na...it hasn't come to that na. Lolz. As @panicbutton right said, we are humans and we react to things differently. Criticize him or not, he contributes on way or the other... Perhaps, he plays alot with it which I believe he has learned from the various feedback already given. The GCMS note he uploaded about the NYSC thingy is kinda useful cos we can all learn from it one way or the other as it came from a certain VO and not him....it all depends on how you wanna use the knowledge from someone else's experience in this process.

I also completely disagree that we haven't had people contributing here... I see comments from d likes of @ednut, @maroon et al. And I often applaud them in silence cos they are doing all these for FREE!... I am awaiting my own PPR mail and I don't even know jack of what the know. Their knowledge is what consultants ask for crazy sums for...Let's at least appreciate them than generalize like errone here isn't doing well.

Lets sha focus on our focus... And move on. It will end in praise.

Good morning everyone.

I have 2 and half years experience in HR and 2 years in Customer service. Can I combine NOCs to claim 3 years work experience or it's not possible?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by ShoeShineGuy: 10:38am On Nov 04, 2020
Prettiepearlz:

Disregard those feedback on not being able to use NYSC. You can use your Nysc application as long as you are willing to be truthful. This journey is all about honesty and proof. The applicant wasn't truthful. He or she claimed a full time work experience from May 2016 to May 2018 and at the same time claimed experience for NYSC from March 2016 to April 2017 in NAFDAC a different organization totally.

To everyone who like to advice, while we know it's from a good place, and some people derive joy in seeing other people helpless and confused. Please know something, everyone is stressed out already from this journey and this year as a whole, the only ray of hope may be this journey of trying to immigrate. Don't make it harder for others because you are not using it or not in their situation.

Sis, I quite agree with your submission in bold. There's really no need generalising that NYSC can't be used because some individuals failed to tie up some loose ends in their reference letters.

And regarding the pharmacist, he/she has self to blame. It's indeed possible to have another job as a corper (sic) pharmacist. That salary of 60,000 flagged as being too low must have been because that job was a locum job but as it seems, there was no explanation to that effect. It's indeed possible to close from your PPA and dash to another pharmacy as a locum pharm. It all depends on the time agreed with the owner. In fact, there are different scenarios that can play out as a pharmacist as regards job but as I said earlier, the bulk of the blame (if not all sef) still goes to the applicant for not tidying up things with detailed LOE. This, I think, is a pure case of carelessness as it's a familiar terrain for me.
