What is Emefiele investigating in this matter? Imagine printing his name all over the news media as being responsible for destroying democracy in Nigeria. ALL because of earthly gain, he is succumbing to the pressure from the top to freeze the accounts of those people. Too bad for his quiet personality. |

Former attorney-general Michael Aondoakaa argued the case for the freezing of the accounts on behalf of CBN,So this useless man is still hanging within the corridors of power. After Malami, this is the worst AGF ever. |

The CBN governor is a Buharideen. The man is fighting the youth. Why blocked accounts of the people activists? |

I have stopped commenting about politics and Nigeria or FG on Nairaland since about a month ago when I figured out it is infested with BMC and govt paid accounts. It's a bloody waste of my time. I only observe it now. I wonder how much these guys get paid though? |

ivolt:Why didn't the EndSARS protesters back down at that point? They even decided to go against the same curfew imposed by the government to forestall law and order after the protest was hijacked. P.S This doesn't mean the soldiers have any right to shoot at "protesters". |

lexy2014:The opposition would be at the top of that list for any reasonable person. But that's a case for another time. |

Officialgarri:WTF is wrong with your thinking... The Enugu state protest were also funded , they cooked rice there , shared plastic water , Plastic drinks and so on , something that your government couldn't do during the pandemic. Who then do you think the money came from ?.. during the BLM , celebrities funded it , all this money are used to tackle anything that comes out from it. Those that were caught by the police, the money will be used to help release them , those that were injured, the Money will be used to treat them , those that lost phones and other things will be replaced... Your just saying this gibberish, you didn't even participated in the movement... So STFU pls |

tollyboy5:Vote buying won't work with the youths of this generation. No political party can afford to pay above 50k for each youth (they're no longer cheap). Freelancers making an average of $1000 monthly, Benefit boys, Instagram sellers making crazy profit on a single item, Girls with big God, etc Just to name a few. People from the older generation don't know how easy it's to make money off the internet these days and how little 5k-20k is to the average young man/woman. |

jaytii:Who is d opposition and why would they be on d top of d list? Is it d same opposition that sent thugs to attack protesters in Abuja, Benin, Lagos& osogbo after d protesters refused to back down? Is it d opposition that provided BRT buses & other logistics to transport thugs to protests venues as seen in d link I sent to u? |

tollyboy5:Lol...so now it's about the rich vs the poor. Most of you guys parading yourselves as "pissful protesters" are just bunch of hoodlums and miscreants. Later they'll claim the hoodlums are government sponsored. The rich are not responsible for your misfortune. when their parents were hustling to make the life of their children better where were yours? Whining about govt as usual... |

TheLionofLasigi:Good to know that you are a Yoruba man as I have great respect for the tribe. You however do not speak like one. My advice to you is to stop fvcking Igbo girls. It's beginning to affect your gene. As for your post..keep decieving yourself about the poverty capital of Nigeria. Lol Poverty is a thing of the mind. We are content people. We do not envy each other and we dont have that intense passion to be forcefully rich due to social media pressure the way we see it in the south. What we have is ok for us. The Northerners that are rich are happy those that are not rich are also happy and content. Thats why we are very unified and use it to our advantage mostly during election |

Officialgarri:Seun, these are accounts you’re supposed to ban for going against the rules. But no, you won’t. The EndSars matter is a sensitive topic and can make Nairaland lose its members. Remember MySpace’s internet activity didn’t nosedive in one day. It took several years. My 2 cents |

cyrilamx:I didn't stop u from using sledgehammer but as far as I can tell, ur comment has not in anyway answered d questions I asked: "What do u mean by "if the funds came clean"? How many politicians in Nigeria under d APC have clean funds in their accounts? Those that hoarded palliatives in d midst of hunger, what has been done to them?" |

lexy2014:The PDP (APC played the same card in 2012 although strategically) Good question Thugs in Edo didn't just attack protesters, they use the absence of police officers to rob protesters in broad daylight. In Lagos they use the opportunity to set up toll gates on a lot of roads and streets in Lagos, requesting as high as 1000 naira just to let you pass. They also took revenge on police officers that have been exploiting them for years. Go to Mushin and hear what those boys have to say about some of the officers and how happy they were to have dealt with some of them. For the BRT question: jaytii: |

My friend shut up! The guy committed no offence in what he wrote. Not everyone must reason like you. What he wrote in the first paragraph is actually true. Who is not aware that the protest were still ongoing even after their demands for the ending of sars were already met by the government. And it was obvious the so-called protest would have continued indefinitely for no justifiable reason just because the protesters were enjoying free food, free medical services and some other freebies sponsored by anti-Nigeria forces both within and outside the country. These forces wanted to use these disgruntled, delusional youths to destabilize Nigeria and weaken the government with the ultimate purpose of breaking up the country. Nigerian government, both at the state and federal level needed to act fast! haryomikun: |

jaytii:Freelancers are suffering too bro. Fuel is cost, there is no light, if I get enough money I'll build a techhub with 20 hours light. Since I'll be the one designing the inverter system I'll let freelancers pay far less than our present NEPA bill make God strengthen us |
