If there's any tribe that should be given a shot at the presidency come 2023, it is the Igbo
And if there's any party that should give them their ticket, it is PDP.

I will take this quest of theirs seriously only when they boldly come out to impress it upon PDP they deserve the party's ticket more than anyone else.

Haba, isn't that the right thing to do? Even in the last elections in Edo and Ondo, they displayed their morbid disdain for anything APC and supported PDP. Every single day, they do the same here. So, I just dont understand what moral grounds they stand upon demanding APCs ticket.

It doesn't make any sense.

This people should be very careful and not push for igbo presidency to an insolvent country , my take is that igbos should rather be the president of world bank , DG of WTO , chair the most powerful companies in Africa and be in the most influential companies in the world than be the president of a country that is on the verge of bankruptcy and nearing its decline.

Nigeria is riddle and crippled with debts , an igbo president will have paucity of funds to do anything meaningful unless restructuring Nigeria (which by he way will be fiercely resisted by those who want to kill Nigeria.

Igbo presidency might sound good but the timing might not be right . those who ruined Nigeria will not pass the baton until Nigeria is in its lowest rung
it will be easier for head of a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for an igbo man to be the president of nigeria.

her own name is ngozi (igbo name)

she hails from ogwashi-ukwu village in delta state (igbo name)

Instead of them to pitch for restructuring, they are pitching for a position they can never get. An Igbo can only become a vice president who will be invisible and insignificant. Even if they become president, what good will that do for us. All this years, have they finished second Niger bridge, have they finished Enugu onitsha express way? Are they not in national assembly when others are raising up issues that will help their regions? Has the renovation of Enugu airport been completed? No. But it was commissioned months ago and they claimed it will be completed in few weeks. Not it's months. Don't Igbo politicians know about all that? They do. They won't treat us better if they get there. Their being there will add nothing to us if those who are there now can't do shit. Let them go and seat down and discuss something else.

For now I'm not sure if the northerners are ready to pass the Barton over to dem.
If dey really wat their voice to be heard, they should support a south easterner for Vice President.

It's not upto the North to decide which tribe the next president will come from, but it would do the SE some good if they can calm down and chase the tribalistic one like kanu away or he'll keep sabotaging their plans. I am very sure whoever the SE can produce will do wayyyyyyyy better than our current president, so long as it's not another greatgrandpa and the tribalistic ones among the Northerner's using boko haram don't try to use then like they did with GEJ.

Firstly I'm sure you don't know the meaning of Niger Delta and the states that makes up Niger Delta like your felow low brains that clicked likes and share. Niger delta is never a tribe. Meanwhile, Igbo is a tribe and not a state so tribes cuts across political boundaries. Ewu

NOI is ANIOMA by tribe, Igbo by marriage. Language and name IS NOT ancestry.

ANIOMA( Aniocha, Ndokwa, Ika, Oshimili+ MA).

Nobody is stopping the East from taking a shot at the presidency.
Okorocha contest against Buhari in Apc's primaries in 2015.
The issue it is a fruitless attempt in Apc because they've not invested enough votes in the party. And politics is a game of numbers. The vast majority of Igbos have been a staunch and unapologetic supporter of PDP.
Why aren't they making their claims there?

You want to give somewhere and take elsewhere?
Really?

If Ndigbo were not great, you won't be jumping from thread to thread looking for their matter to throw jabs at.
"It is only the tree that bears fruit that get stones thrown at".
"Ife oganiru dị n'ime ya na enwe ndị ụfụ obi na ndị nkwutọ" meaning "it's things that prosper that have haters and people that slander it" just like you do day and night in Igbo threads. It actually confirms our importance and greatness. Thank you

Na my turn !Na our turn! With no concrete plan on ground on how to make Nigeria a better country..This country should be restructured, if not, Nigeria will still be thesame .
Beside who are they clamouring for anyway? At present the south east do not have good politicians both in APC & PDP ..If they are clamouring for any of those thieves and clowns like the okorochas' the orji uzo Kalu or Chris Ngige etc , then there is no hope . They are all thesame like thier counterpart .
Pls we are tired of every ethnic group trying to eat from the national cake , which will only be available to few politicians ,thier families & cronies. What about trying to clamour a country better through restructuring .
Abeg, let us restructure this country ,Nigeria is bleeding and the people are giving up hope in this country .

Bro.. Ngozi recognizes herself to be igbo. I have heard her speak in her native dialect... She kepts saying Ndi Igbo anyi ( typical way an igbo man addresses his people).

Nobody is forcing anybody. All these were political expansions. Its just normal, you can't speak the language, bear the sane name and celebrate the same festivals. We have yoruba roots and tribes to in Benin. Hmmmmm....

Shut up if have noting to say, we are too great a people to attache our selves with any body, but we must claim what is rightly ours, beside yoruba in kwara nd kogi never said they are not yorubas, Dino Melaye for instance have said it over times that he is a yoruba man, so don't just jump into comparison try nd find out the differentials in the senerios.
