1. Ronaldo De Lima - El fenomeno (nothing more to add)
2. Marco Van Basten - Greatest non-speedy number 9 striker ever. Won Ballon dor at least twice.
3. Gabriel Batistuta - Ronaldo de Lima's arch rival in the Serie A with Fiorentina. Baddest shooter with a rocket cannon shot. Only scorer of two hattricks in different world cups.

Note, I've excluded some badass number nines of old which were probably better than some of the above listed guys. These are Ferenc Puskas, , Eusebio(black panther) & Gerd Muller. Why? 1985 is my cut off period. I don't also consider Romario as a number 9, else, he'll be second after Ronaldo.

I dnt agree bcox prime suarez was wen he played in Liverpool n I didnt see him better stop best days in barca winning pichichi, finishing top3 as world best n scoring in ucl finals..

Suarez was clearly the best player in 2016 . Won the golden boot twice in Ronaldos and Messi era . Eto would never tbh . Prime Suarez from 2014-2016 was definitely better than eto
