Igbos are more interested in a working system than presidency, we have outgrown that emotional palliative. The least that we can manage for the meantime is a reformed Nigeria, at best or we go our seperate ways.. On Biafra lies our hope. 7 Likes |

Coneheadyutes: I think that we should all remember that Presidency is based on geopolitical zone, not tribe. If we were to base Presidency based on tribe, it will take two thousand years before all the tribes can produce president. Although Amaechi is an Igbo man, he is from the South/South. If Amaechi becomes the President, it will be seen as a South/South thing, not SE. 3 Likes |

Why not? If the Presidency is zoned to the Igbo nation, then he’s qualified. But if it’s a SE only, then he’ll have to wait for the turn of the SS. However, that does not deny him his place in the midst of his kinsmen. Amaechi or any SS Igbo is fit enough to represent the Igbo nation in national assignments. If Ibe Kachikwu and Ifeanyi Emefiele can represent Igbos in Buhari’s executive cabinet irrespective of state, the same logic too applies in Amaechi’s case. 1 Like |

Isn't it funny you call it Igbo presidency and still expect an imposter from another ethnic nationality to claim it? On what ground will Amaechi or any Ikwerre that claims not to be Igbo to take Igbo slot? Igbos shouldn't allow anyone to pull wool over their eyes. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Re: Is Amaechi Fit Enough For Igbo Presidency? by NigerDeltaIgbos: 3:19pm On Nov 08, 2020 |
Eastlink: Yes, SS Igbos from places like Asa, Anioma etc. accept their Igbo heritage and Igbos will always vote for us anytime and any day we want to represent the Igbo nation. But allowing imposters who claim to belong to a different ethnic group to represent us is a no no! It just doesn't make sense. 9 Likes 3 Shares |

BIGGESThead6: The north should first free itself from poverty ,illiteracy and disease ravaging the the region ,if not for the southern brains and money your region would not even be better than Niger, with all you have stole from the south you should have built dubai in the north but no,you guys are cursed already, Nothing special about the north just that Britain structured you guys to be majority, fought a war for you and won because they know you are the most gullible people In West Africa that would do their bidding easily.. 5 Likes 1 Share |
