Nigerians are wicked. I received a call this morning that they bought cement at the rate of 3200 per bag. I was beyond livid because money is not easy to come by.
There should be a body regulating prices.

One idiot was disturbing my peace yesterday that the price I gave him is high because that is what people are selling outside and as major distributor, out price needs to be lower.
I told him to go and buy there because those people don't normally get information on prices on time the way we do or he should wait till today and see those people prices, now they are selling 3k+...

They are selling cement close to 5k and they are talking of biulding Nigeria. This was why dangote fought hard to impose himself as the monopoly of the business with his brother bua. How can our people not live in huts for ever if a bag of cement is this costly?

Like rice like cement.. All na scam, they said the price would crash after the ban on importation but instead it increased by over 300 percent.

That's how Nigerians are always disturbing the likes of DSTV. Did someone force you to watch DSTV? Is DSTV like electricity? Roads? Rail?... which are all your rights? Shouldn't you be more concerned with making sure you get the services you pay for without being cheated, rather than being concerned with banning the service itself?

If me I know how to produce cement for N500, I will sell it for N1000 if my overhead allows for such cost price. That way I will undercut every single seller out there and become a billionaire.

government should bring it down to 1500 naira like it was before because many people want to use it and still at 2500 Naira every where.

In Abia?I blame Obasanjo that played us into the hand of Dangote, he promised cement wouldn't be sold more than 600 naira then but the price never go down beyond #1400 then, when he ban the importation of cement which suppose to good for our economy but it actually didn't help us in anywhere
