Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has come out to give his opinion on the proposed social media regulation bill by the federal government of Nigeria.

During the presentation of the 2021 budget for the state, the governor said that Nigeria already had an existing cybercrime unit and so there is no need for any social media bill, and if anyone chooses to sponsor it, he should be categorically counted out.
