NUC APPROVES ESTABLISHMENT OF CUSTECH, KOGI STATE AS THE 50TH STATE UNIVERSITY IN NIGERIA

…institution will meet international standard – Gov. Bello

The National Universities Commission (NUC) on Tuesday granted approval and recognition for the establishment of Confluence University of Science and Technology, (CUSTECH) Osara, Kogi State as the new addition to the list of State owned Universities in Nigeria.

Speaking while reading out the letter of recognition for the institution’s establishment at the NUC office in Abuja, the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Rasheed noted that the newly recognized State University would have the maximum support of the commission.

Growth (increase in numbers) over Development

Every politician wants to be known as the one who set up this or that university, instead of improving on the ones on ground. ASUU is currently on their annual strike because of poor salaries and infrastructures. Schools that are not up to the standard of a high school abroad, we call them universities here.

Damnnn niggurrr.... Praise God! As a real nigggurrr, i didn't bother checking the name of the damn school, you know why? Because it is not gonna be different from other naija hundreds of unis, with their low standard of education.
