Mexico is a nice country that media do put down. If you can get your information straight,land there and regularise yourself. You won't regret the move.

Op you would need to speak Spanish to study in Mexico. There are world class universities like UNAM and ITESM but they offer their postgraduate courses in Spanish. ITESM even has a Spanish speaking language test similar to IELTS that you have to submit alongside your application. The school fees are also a bit high for ITESM. I think UNAM is free. ITESM is around 10000 USD a year. You can contact more schools though. I only have information on these two schools because I have personally messaged them.

Mexico? Even people in Mexico are struggling to cross the border.

I didn't study in Mexico, but I've been there as a tourist. And I can asure you that I have never met kinder and friendlier people in any other country
