I am a freelance writer who has been receiving my payments in the last couple of years through PayPal Xoom or World Remit straight into my account. Tell them to pay you through any of the aforementioned or any other reliable one out there.

Forget about using shortcuts, your payments may hang in the balance if you are not careful. If the guys who want to pay you are in Canada or the US just tell them to pay you through any of the aforementioned.

For Ghana the best to use is mobile money. That's what an average Ghanaian understands.

Then, let them pay you through GTBank, Access Bank or any other Nigerian bank that has a branch in any of those countries.

You don't need a business or corporate account, even a savings account is okay. Just ask or instruct the sender to send it through Xoom PayPal or World Remit.

The sender can also send you your payment through bank wire. Please don't let anyone on Nairaland talk you into receiving on your behalf.

Yes, it is very possible; but you can still call UBA customer service here in Nigeria to find out more.
