Fact about Democratic leadership in Nigeria. We have North and southern region in Nigeria, each wth three (3) geopolitical zones. South presidency: Obj (SW) = 8 years as President GEJ (SS) = 6 years Total = 14yrs. North Presidency: Late Yar’dua (NW)= 2yrs ( even dou he was only healthy and active for 1yr, JEG was in acting capacity for 1 year b4 his demise. PMB (NW)= 8yrs( If God keep him to complete his tenure by 2023) Total will be 1+8 = 9yrs, let even say 10 yrs. The implication of this is that the North is in deficit of 4yrs even though the more populated region. By this calculation, who deserve presidency between North and south come 2023, God’s willing? Now let consider overall villa Ocupant considering the six (6) geopolitical zones: SOUTH South West: President= 8yrs(OBJ) Vice President =8yrs(PYO) South south: President = 6yrs (GEJ) Vice President =2yrs (GEJ) South East: President= 0 Vice President =0 NORTH: North west: President = 10yrs ( Late Yar’dua and PMB) Vice President= 6 yrs( Sambo) North East: President= 0 Vice President = 8yrs (Atiku) North Central : President= 0 Vice President =0 Considering the imbalance between North and South Presidency, the North will have to retain presidency come 2023. Coming to the North, the preferred zone will have to be either Northeast or North central. Considering the recent agitation for youth presidency come 2023, North central will be the preferred zone. Except if we are ready to gamble with the esteemed position of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You be the judge but the truth have been laid before you and the general public to ponder upon. God bless Nigeria.

phorget:Don't mind him. Maybe he is expecting us to throw away those many years of military rule and start afresh again when those same people and their families and even the entire North are still benefiting from that rule and it's loot. |

With this kind of analysis, I will continue to see reasons why Nigeria should break up. So, you have forgotten govt is a continuous process and nobody force GBJ on yar'adua and it is not the south that kill the then president and the president and his northern people also are aware that, Incase of any eventuality, such as death, the vice president will become the president.... Even if we restructure, some foolish northerners would also give stupid problem all in the name of analysis All the past Military head of state in Nigeria are from which region |

Racoon:If you are talking about SP and HS, note that SE was also SP and HS for many years represented by Enwerem, Okadigbo, Wabara, Nnamani, Ayim etc. So in summary, NC has legitimate claim as much as SE if not better. |
