Seeing the questions, I was so sure some candidates will score upto 90%, I should be one of them if well prepared, but I didn't even try to read anything cos I know within me it's by God's favour although I regret it because the little questions I should have gotten If well prepared but i failed them.

Aptly said, the people hammering solely on connection do not want people w/o connection to even attempt thinking it will better their own chances.
From experience have come to realise that this job is a matter of luck and personal effort to some extent. That doesn't mean some people don't enter with influence of godfathers them dey also but saying all officers entered because of connection is false.
Pressing from all angles is the best but to give up w/o putting up a fight because someone said you must have connection is plain foolishness. Even common exams wey people write on Saturday some candidates not shortlisted will think all those shortlisted had connection which is not entirely true even some people with high voltage connection weren't shortlisted for the same exam. Tell people this they'll think one is being economical with the truth.

now this is the whole honest truth.... Not all officers or recruit made it with GF, that's The truth, merit counts too.. But we know say Chief Of Army Staff and Defense minister Candidate na first shirt them go collect

I have this great believe many nairalanders will make the screening&interview including resuming for the training.

can I still go for the screening without taking my form along...I was thinking since it's not the final list....cause am in calabar right now I have to travel down to osun state to my local government to fill the form

But it can be overlooked. Have seen that. They will ask you to come with it if you made the final list that's when it's compulsory

i actually doubt this sir! I really do.. EVERYTHING is collected during the screening

There will be at least 7days notice from the date of publication of the screening list and the screening starting date, if you made the list which I pray we will all make, then you can prioritise going to Osun to get your forms signed up and then you can probably head to Ibadan from Osun, it is even closer. Doing that will help you preserve the resources that you have rather than just going to Osun to get the forms signed without you seeing the list first.

Those forms is required to make or mar the chances of getting through to the final list. How else will they ascertain that you are who you claim you are without getting your forms filled and signed by the appropriate authorities.

And for the record, The screening list should be out by tomorrow against next tomorrow InShaa Allah. The Officer in my test Centre still re-emphasised that the screening will commence on 28th of this month. There should be a week notice to successful applicants before the screening will commence on the 28th.
