APGA is going to lose next year's elections because in 16 years they have not done anything fantastic. Have they changed the face of Awka? Which city has pipe-borne water in Anambra? How great is Anambra State University? Which hospital of excellence have they built? Obiano killed his party by playing Agulerisation nepotism. They are now scrambling to deliver projects that people can actually see but its too litle too late. The only project that will be ready next year is the mini Stadium. Meanwhile PDP will unify the opposition and will carry the votes of the discredited APC party.

The Latest update on the construction of the world class airport project, Anambra International Cargo And Passengers Airport, Umueri.

Work is smoothly going on the airport site, and it will be ready for commissioning by April 2021. The airport will have 3.7 kilometers runway with 400meters each end of the runways called the free zone, A 12 storey building air control tower, High length Height Apron, International and Domestic terminal building, Cargo terminal and cargo handling facilities, Air craft maintainance hanger and facilities, Aviation fuel pump and lots of other features like international Convention Center, Shopping mall, Industrial park, housing estates and many more
The international airport, when completed will boost the economy and economic activities of Anambra State.

Please for those of us who love carrying every little development update in Anambra to front page, let kindly reduce it till when the project is completed or 75-90% complete. U might have good intentions for doing so but we don't know the mindset of other people viewing it. Instead bring every update to this thread where well meaning individuals can follow up Anambra development updates. The Airport project needs to be out of the media space till completion.

Anambra State Police Command Launches Rapid Response Squad To Curb Crime And Criminality In The State This Yuletide.

Anambra state Police Command has today being the 12th of November, 2020, launched Rapid Response Squad to fight crime and Criminality in the state during and after the Yuletide period.

The team are to patrol round streets of Anambra throughout the Yuletide season and after, to ensure full protection of life and properties of the citizenry.

Officers and men of the Anambra state Police Command kicked -off the patrol exercise with township patrol led by the Commissioner of Police, Mr John Abang represented by the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Haruna Muhammed, to create awareness on the exercise and also remind criminal elements that they have no place in the state.

During the township patrol exercise, the team which kicked off at the Police Headquarters in Amawbia passed through Eke Awka market, Agu-Awka, Unizik junction, Amawbia bypass junction, Amawbia round about by Onitsha old road, among other strategic points.

The Anambra state Governor, Chief Willie Obiano had earlier today flagged -off the patrol squad where he donated thirteen security vehicles to the state Police Command effective security network in the state during and after this Christmas period.

The vehicle donated by the governor are three Innoson Ikenga jeep, and ten hilux trucks.
