Going Into Dog Breeding. Need Advice by womaniser(op): 4:48pm On Nov 21, 2020
Hello Petlanders,

I want to go into dog breeding as a business and I'm thinking of a suitable dog breed. I intend to breed at home (I have sufficient space) but I want a small dog that can fetch good money on sales. Reason is I don't want a guard dog like a rottweiler or Alsatian that will make a lot of noise or will be a problem if I switch residence.

I'm willing to invest a substantial sum (500k for starters) in a quality pedigree and care of the dog as well. I feel Lhasa and eskimos are too rampant, I'm looking at breeds like the French Bulldog or Pug. Something rare, expensive and in good demand.

Your inputs will be appreciated.

Thanks

You can go for pug, you can get a quality pug for 300-400k and there is a reasonableness demand for them
