Pls sir wip7 can i use my HND to study in CIU for M.eng in electronics and telecom. Engr? Am a fresh graduate, do i need GRE and TOFEL also? What are the chances of getting a scholarship for my studies? Between living in school dorm and renting a hostel outside school, which is cheaper? What is the overal cost of studying my M.eng in ciu, travel cost and mecelleanous altogether will cost me how much? Since am self sponsored, lastly can i use my M.eng cert to secure scholarship, job abroad in other well developed countries? Thanks

CIU admits applicants with HND directly into a master program and you maybe given some foundation courses as bridging courses depending on your previous background.

All incoming students are awarded scholarships; after the 50% scholarship, currently a master program without a foundation courses will be approximately 3500 euros (this includes 7 courses, seminar, a thesis , registration fees, etc). If you are given a foundation courses, each currently cost 120 euros.

If you are coming from country with English being official language, you don’t need TOEFL but you may be requested to take entry English test. No need for GRE.

Accommodation will range 1500-3000 euros either school or off campus per year. People go off campus because they can share rooms, bills with other occupants.

Securing blue/white/green collar jobs abroad requires a competitive profile laced with academic merits, verifiable demanding skills, experience and add-ons.

Take note: study abroad is expensive irrespective of countries, henceforward, ensure you are financially prepared.

Sir can someone pay for the all inclusive package (tuition and accommodation and feeding) in CIU at once instead of paying the $1500 initial deposit?

Please People in North Cyprus can you tell me any sort of racism you have witnessed I don’t understand why the FGN is warning Nigerians not to go I have seen many people in north Cyprus studying peacefully as it is one of the most international student friendly country in the world. While most of the recent deaths I have read about if you read the story are either of scammers, fighting over a girl or people who associate with drugs or people that went to a Remote location let’s face it even in Nigeria if you go to any remote location you are not from even if you are from there bad things happen especially during this kidnapping season not to talk of another man’s country. So please I don’t understand somebody should explain it to me.

If you like your Nigeria and the suffering plus the poor Educational system, stay there. If you want something better and desire something new despite the odds, make a move. It is your choice to make. Take it or leave it. I have been here since October. I'm doing my own thing, getting contacts and I am very okay. If someone is trying to be a racist to you, it's not your problem. The reason why you are here or why you want to be here should be your priority. There is nowhere in the world that Africans do not suffer racism. All you need to do is know who you are and stand your ground if need be.

Please is there a post graduate work permit or any other kind of permit that allows graduates stay back in north Cyprus to look for a job after graduation?

No direct postgraduate work permit after graduation currently, meaning after graduation you have 40-60 days legally on the island after then you become illegal.

If you graduate and get a job you will have a work permit from the employer, duration of the permit will be depending on the job type.

Airport officials at ERCAN do not care if is a single or a return trip ticket you have. So you can book one way, however, will be logical to ask a Turkish airline official at the closest airport to you. Generally, with a T-visa you can come with a single-way ticket.
