I was listening to this dimwit talk about empowering 5M small scale farmers on channels TV. The depth of cluelessness and unambitiousness is just sickening. Agriculture cannot provide the level of economic prosperity that Nigeria needs to even live well. Small scale farming for that matter. I wonder why these fools paid in millions can't realise it. The policy instability alone in Nigeria is crazy. The Naira is now in the gutters. If you have millions of naira in the bank, and you are not looking for the means to buy dollars, you are a fool of the first order. The biggest investment in NIgeria now is the dollars. The smart ones are converting their assets to dollars, especially those in govt. |

You cannot wake up to shut the borders and expect prosperity. Which serious investors will come into a country suffering such policy instability. How will they plan? All these brain dead policies have brought about a cumulative effect leading to the current recession we are seeing. |

Buhari is not the right man for the job. It was obvious prior to 2015. It was no coincidence that those who promoted his candidacy shielded him from public scrutiny. Somebody who will make "1 dollar equals 1 Naira and stabilise global oil prices ". Doesn't have anything to offer. It just shows how small his mind is. In the last 6 years no deliberate attempts were made towards import substitution. Recurrent expenditure had ballooned. Despite increasing pump price the subsidy payment has still been in place. The federal government is also squeezing out the private sector from the debt market. Calling Buhari clueless is an understatement! This is what I hate about democracy, mostly in a multiethnic society like Nigeria. People who made the right choice have to live with the bigotry inspired decision of Buhari's supporters. |

“I always did something I was a little not ready to do. I think that’s how you grow. When there’s that moment of ‘Wow, I’m not really sure I can do this,’ and you push through those moments, that’s when you have a breakthrough. |

Let me give you a story as to the plight of the middle class in Naija. I spent some time coming to Naija on various occasions between 2013-2020. I reside btw London and Ibiza. In Abuja, I knew of a family (two kids, wife worked too)where the dad worked at Toyota main dealership and was making bucks and sales targets. The auto sales market under GEJ was buoyant. They had nice large bungalow around lokogoma. Soon as PMB got in, sales dried up, staff were laid off...he made an exit plan. The whole family decamped to California. I had some legal work with a lawyer 2019 in Abuja high court. My lawyer was telling me how 2 of his legal colleagues have moved to Canada and he wants to follow them. Even now, he was asking me how he can japa under Corona. Last few years in Abuja I have seen ppl roasting snake and Bush meat by the side of the road. The poverty has increased five fold. If I have seen this in the capital, imagine the villages. Buihari no get brain to run a vibrant, modern country. Just compare with Ghanian president and you will get a migraine. |
