Your so-called will to obey is meaningless here. And it has nothing to do with whether you believe or not.

The Pharisees and the Sadducees also believe... Demons believe as well. Their belief does not equate to obedience in anyway or form.

Here's the low down as far as life as a believer is concerned. You are called to become a servant of God, to serve(work) God all the days of your life. As a servant, you are meant to obey the commandments of your Master, are you not?
Your life as a servant of God is meant to be lived in obedience to the commandments of Jesus Christ, is it not?
Now, when a servant obeys His Master, is he not doing the Work that His Master has commanded?

If you do not do the work that your Master commands you to do, will your Master reward you or consider you a worthy servant? Remember, the teachings of Jesus Christ as far as His servants are concerned. He even taught us even this in so many parables... only those servants who do the work that is commanded of them will inherit the kingdom. Those who refuse to do the work will be cast out.

You cannot make by your works, believe in the finished works of Jesus.

Jesus completed his assignment on the cross. All you have to do now is to believe in him(check my first comment) Jesus himself said it is finished and also said anything is possible to him who believe. If you think you can make heaven by your works, you're are saying that Christ died in vain.

When Christ said "It is finished", He meant the agreement between God and man which He came to bring to all mankind.

You don't seem interested in doing (obeying) the commandments that are part and parcel of the New Covenant that is Jesus Christ. Instead, you are somehow convinced that simply believing it in your mind, you can fold your hands and wait to inherit even the kingdom of Heaven? What can I say? Nothing

Demons, Pharisees, Sadducees, and all the other "godly" hypocrites we read of in the Bible, etc, they all believe in God. Ao following your earlier assertion, since their belief amounts to a "will to obey" God, God ought to be satisfied with their sacrifice, am I right?

Jesus Christ was wrong for pronouncing curse on them, since according to you, their "will" to obey is whatt their belief in God implies and so God excuses them from obedience of His many commandments to them, is that not so?

The same God had manifested as the Father and and son at different dispensation, now is the dispensation of the Holy Spirit called the last days. Acts of the apostles was clear on recieving the Holy Spirit. It has not changed, even though faked the original is still preserved by God the Father.

Romans 10:9-10 That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart thatGod has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.

10 For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

What's your own definition of holiness?? The holy spirit will dwell in you if u'r holy.
Even someone who isn't a baptized Christian but lives a holy Life can be holy spirit filled.


The challenge now is the grace to be holy.. maybe you need Deliverance

When you are filled with Holy Spirit, you start living a new life, bearingbte fruits of the Spirit.

I need your advice on how to go about with this. I am born again and I have been baptized for years now and yet I don't feel like I posses the holy spirit it's something I want really badly and yet I don't see myself receiving it.
Note: this is not as a result of lack of belief because I very much believe in the holy spirit and his works.
I also know that with the Holy Spirit to navigate you, the race becomes easier to run

Jesus Christ in fact gave a simple and straight-forward answer to this question. He said that if you accept(trust) and obey His Teachings(commandments) that He and His Father will come and make their Home in you and that you will be called a Son of God.
