Nigeria is in this mess because of Britain. They control virtually all the activities of the Nigerian government. Watching their parliamentary session on the brutality that followed the endsars protest was quite revealing. In that session I learnt that it was Britain that trained the Sars operatives and continued training them. From that session I learnt of Gowon's misappropriations which the British government sat on for decades and just been revealed. I watched the presentation of the parliamentarians and one major thing stood out for me is for an independent investigation which the UK government in their response is not willing to pursue. Nigeria will continue to wallow in the wilderness until Nigeria disconnect with Britain |

So UK is the one looting our common wealth? This is serious. Edited: Those accusations against Gowon are baseless. If he wasn't overthown, they would have made some sense. |

Bonavi:Did you watch the video? They said he ran away to the UK with half of CBN. Gowon was taken unaware, so that can't be true. |

This isn't a curse, but Nigeria can NEVER be better and its problems have more to do with its inhabitants than it has to do with Britain! People can only use you if you let them, or if you have so called 'compatriots' that are happy with the status-quo! |

Bonavi:There's nothing like logic here. Gowon was overthrown while he was attending OAU summit in Kampala. So the argument that he ran away to the UK with half of CBN is flawed. The law lawmaker who made this accusation was only 2 years old then. So, his assertions were based on fear say, at best. But trust Nigerians and their gullible nature, as long as it's coming from an oyibo, they'll swallow it hook and sinker. |
