"Dot-In-The-Circle" Psychological Damage Has Turned Ndigbo To Unity Beggars

Any astute observer of the Nigerian political landscape cannot help but notice the psychological blow and damage done by Buhari's "Dot-In-The-Circle" characterization of the Igbo predicament inside Nigeria. Make no mistake about it, Buhari is too dull to come up with that phrase all by himself and no doubt it came out as the sentiments expressed by the inner circle of Buhari who by the way still privately refers to Igbos as yummiri.

The cumulative effect of the dot statement plus the lifting of the delusion of inclusion of any inch of the Niger Delta has made Biafra all but a dead project. Igbo appetite for Self-Determination is DEAD.

The dilemma that remains for Igbos is that it is INCONTROVERTIBLE even to the Unity Beggars that:
1. Nigeria will never be a great country because we have a permanent clash of civilization.
2. Igbos are the most detested and the least desirable in the union. And please it has nothing to do with envy and the developer thing is outdated..

Many now see Ndigbo as a people with no choice that to take any and all iniquities thrown at it without recourse. In short the Igbos in Nigeria left with no bargaining chip have psychologically boxed themselves into the lowest class citizens in Nigeria.

OP is a pragmatically intelligent Igbo. Unlike you and most Igbos.

Yorubas do not tell you North love us. Yet, as OP concluded, Igbos have no bargaining chip but Yorubas do.

We have worth in Nigeria. You do not. Very important to have worth and value in an arena people of different ethnicity are primed to fight for their permanent interests. Simple as that.

Most African nations have no worth because we make nothing the world wants while we want everything others make. This makes African nations easy to disregard, disrespect and ignore in matters of world affairs and the permanent interest of nations. Ditto for Igbos in Nigeria.
