Argentine legend, Diego Maradona was declared dead on Wednesday with the cause of death to be Cardiac arrest caused by blood clots in the brain.

AllNews understands that the whole world and particularly Argentina has felt the loss of a leader or as some regarded him, "a god" leading to Andre Villa-Boas's urge to FIFA to retire the No. 10 shirt as a tribute to the Argentine.

Doesn't make sense. If you retire a shirt every time a legend dies, in a few years time there may be no shirts to wear, especially numbers 1 - 11.

Those sort of players only come once in a lifetime or generation. I'm very sure Napoli, Argentina and Boca Juniors will retire the number 10 jersey in his memory..

sounds funny and kinda overblown...fifa cnt retire a shirt number bcox of diego bcoz other football greats av died and it wasnt done..
