A group of civilians are currently thanking their stars.

The civilians were being interrogated by men of the Nigerian Army for driving behind and trailing a military vehicle, when Nigerian human rights activist, pro-democracy campaigner, former presidential candidate, and founder of online news agency Sahara Reporters, came to their rescue.

The 5th runner up and Young Democratic Party (YPP) presidential flagbearer in the 2019 presidential election liaised with the officers and asked what the problem was, it was discovered that the military vehicle which was in a hurry to go pick up a 'Big Man', was trailed and watched by the men, which made the soldiers suspicious. The soldiers asked the men to open the boot of their car but the men declined, which infuriated the military officers who asked the men to lay on the floor.
