Been on a losing streak on my contest account. SL just hitting left and right.

Not unless I start taking an ungodly amount of risk between today and tomorrow, I don't think I'll be catching up.

This is one of d times one needs to stay out of d market when price doesn't respect any technical analysis and fundamental news can boast or flatten one out of d market if one wants to "SHORIKUNKUN".

Thanks boss. Early this morning it has been forming a falling wedge but have refused to react and kept slipping down..

I will keep watching it patiently probably something is about to change.

I except it to come down at least 70-100 pips because daily tf has lost its upside momentum.

Good day bosses. I recently found this thread and I'm a newbie to Forex. My question is what are some good resources where I can gain a basic knowledge on Forex trading? And pls suggest for me a good broker that has both live and demo trade and is commonly used by members of this thread.

I see the same as djwalata, they are both exhausted already. But, I like to wait for a perfect formation, I don't pick tops and bottoms. You are in already and from now on, you may only imagine that you just recently entered a short and again assumed you just picked the top.

Note: the up may continue, the reason I said I don't pick tops or bottoms.

Be careful of the nzd pairs cos recently the NZD pairs react to all the news fast and instead of it to be ranging side way like the other pairs were doing
it ranges upward to hunt stops

If you trade with recovery system, meaning, you add to trade when they go against you, have cap set, say no matter how many trades you add on, you'll cut all trades after 3% lose of account balance. Win some , lose some , but win more.

NZD as they have a lot of ppl trapped, they will now force a lot to take loss before dropping the price.

I didn't pick the top. It was due for a fall so I decided to take the second bearish candles- max 10 pips of each(for nzdjpy,I saw a shooting star candle).. But the shitty pairs didn't reach my tp and started going up lol. So I widened my tp and decided to swing it and they just hung snailishly above my entry, moving in and out but never even reaching my prev. tp. I wait till monday sha

The fx language is more simplified there. Do YT videos. I use FXTM broker. Not the best I'm spreads but I hear they pay

Contest Advice - This is genuine advice from what I've seen so far

Depending on what the market throws at you, you may be able to achieve the goal/priority within the very first 2-3days out of the available 10 trading days in each trading period; however, it is only diligence that will make you win this contest by continuing to trade for the rest of the days, 7-8 days.

It only takes persistence repeating what was done to achieve the goal so it can repeat itself: In summary, after you hit the goal, don't stop, keep trading.

I'm also in on these.
the issues with trying to counter instead of waiting for outright formations is that you'll need to have the patience to wait for the switch over which may play with your emotions a lot.
