*OHANAEZE NDIGBO ELECTION: AWKA MONARCH WARNS AGAINST IMPOSITION.*


*His Imperial Majesty Obi Dr, Austine Chukwuezugo Ndigwe, MON JP, Ezeuzu 3rd of Awka Ancient kingdom in Anambra State has warned against the imposition and interference by political mischief makers and naysayers in the electoral process of the Apex pan Igbo social cultural group, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo as the President Chief John Nnia Nwodo winds down it's leadership in January 2020.*


The Awka Paramount ruler gave the warning in Awka while reacting to the news making rounds online about the botched attempt by some governor's to usurp and hijact the pan Igbo group.


The Obi of Awka warned that there would be dire Consequences if the integrity of the electoral process is not uphead and further warned that the group will loose it's credibility.


He further reiterated the need for the emergence of persons of unblemished record whose integrity is not in doubt who will advance the interest of Igbo nation beyond personal interest and 2023 general election draws near.

He further called on the igbos to be United irrespective of political learnings as the Igbo nation can only negotiate with other ethic group when they are United and when they speak with one voice.


He advised the leadership of ohanaeze Ndigbo to remain non partisan to the various political parties but rather to continue to uphold the tenents of it's establishment which is the advancement of Ndigbo social culturally.
