Ethiopian Troops Deployed In Mekelle, Tigray To Combat The TPLF Ethiopian soldiers from the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) were deployed to the capital of Tigray, Mekelle for the final combat fighting off militants troubling the regional government. According to the prime minister, Abiy Ahmed, the Ethiopian armies will be waging war against the militants holding the capital city’s region, the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF). At the same time, urging the residents of Tigray to choose between the TPLF and the government.
