Who else have noticed this?

Beginning from today 27/11/2020 you can nolonger deposit forex into any other account aside yours.

Today I was in the bank to send some dollars to someone account in lagos and was shock when the teller told me its a new policy beginning from today.

Where are we going in this country?

it's not today it started.....Nigeria just entered another recession, FG is keeping serious eye on the dollar.....Just withdraw the dollar bite the charges and go pay it to the persons account.

Seems you are not getting it

I have dollar with me and want to transfer over the counter to someone in lagos and was told with new CBN policy beginning TODAY you cannot deposit dollar into someone account.

Mind you, even as at YESTERDAY afternoon you can deposit dollar to someone's account

Okay that is new.....thought you meant you were transferring from your account.

Beginning from today you CANNOT PHYSICALLY DEPOSIT DOLLAR IN ANOTHER PERSONS ACCOUNT

The issue is not about selling as I have lots of abokis to sell it to between 475-485 but I need to credit a friends dollar account
