A single nurse doesn’t pronounce death. The doctor should have assessed the patient after the nurse’s assessment. That’s standard procedure in acute care. Doctors are the ones who typically pronounce death except in a hospice setting. This could have been avoided.

He would have been buried alive if was of a particular religion.

Especially elderly people declared dead at home? They will just save money to do lavish burials than take them to hospital.

Obviously he was transferred to hospital after screaming in pain where media now went to see for themselves na.

Any death that is caused by shock or a sudden event should be thoroughly investigated before they reach conclusion. It is possible that someone is dead for a few hours before coming back to life.
