Ndibunna:The north has more beutiful cities than the south west. Go to Kano, go to Dutse, go to Kaduna. Western Nigeria prides in squalid existence! This is the uncomfortable truth that must be told! How can someone tell you that "corrugated iron sheets" are his "cultural heritage"? How do you mean for heavens sake? Your father's invented that or what? Cities looking like pigsty! It's incredible.. |

Ndibunna:Osun is far better than Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi, imo and Anambra. Come and see the way thousands of igbos live in oshogbo, ile Ife, ilesha, ikirun. In fact, there was a time igbos were begging the indigenes of iragbiji to rent out shops to them. But they were rejected, so instead of leaving Osun state as a whole, they move to ikirun. You will hardly find Yorubas in towns in the South East. Nah una dey move com our place cause our region is more prosperous. |

FSBoperator:You might come from MARS....just answer the question... Ogwuocha was built because the coals in Enugu had to be transported to Europe through the sea. Port Harcour was just recently named after Mr Harcourt. Does that make any sense to you? Port Harcourt ( Pidgin: Po-ta-kot[3][Note 1]) also called Pitakwa is the capital and largest city of Rivers State, Nigeria. It lies along the Bonny River and is located in the Niger Delta. As of 2016, the Port Harcourt urban area has an estimated population of 1,865,000 inhabitants, up from 1,382,592 as of 2006.[9][12] The area that became Port Harcourt in 1912 was before that part of Fishing settlements (fishing ports) also called Borokiri in Okrika language and the farmlands of the Diobu village group of the Ikwerre ethnicity.[13] The colonial administration of Nigeria created the port to export coal from the collieries of Enugu located 243 kilometres (151 mi) north of Port Harcourt,[14] to which it was linked by a railway called the Eastern Line, also built by the British.[2][14][15] Wiki.... |

FSBoperator:I hope you won't hang yourself if fulani dont give ND the VP slot in 2023 Walàhi the South West and the Niger Delta are the problem of the South. The Niger Delta is the biggest loser of the 1966 alliance with the north.Yorubas at least gained infrastructure and Corporate tax base including oyel companies from hosting the capital in Lagos. The north took ND oil courtesy of Gowon whos created states and left the land polluted and very poor. Today Zamfara can sell its gold to who it wants in USD but after 50 years oil is becoming useless and the Niger Delta is still very poor, undeveloped and now you have narcotic infested smoking militants and cultists all over the place.

FSBoperator:This is one of the lies we are also setting straight. Eastern Region was the first to grant secession to one of its constituents (the southern Cameroon) which went ahead to join Cameroon after a conference in England 1951. And before 1966 there was nothing like our oil or our resources. The resources used to run the whole eastern region and half of Nigeria was from Coal. Coal was the reason the southern protectorate was merged with the Northern protectorate. The reason was to cancel the deficit incurred in the poor North which eventually led to the high taxation of the southern protectorate especially the eastern region where the money is, subsequently resulting in Aba women's riot. All roads and rail line leads to Port Harcourt then. Port Harcourt was the gateway to cart away the coal mined at Enugu and other valuables from Eastern region to sustain Nigeria. So my dear history re-writer. We never needed the minorities in the first place. If left for Eastern region, all of them would have seceded and joined Cameroon. This was why the FG refused to allow Eastern region to handle the rise of Niger Delta Republic by Adaka Boro because the Eastern region would grant them secession immediately. This is because Ndigbo segregate too much and don't consider others the same with them |

FSBoperator:Ikwerre is just one of the many Igbo speaking people in Rivers state and Im not sure they even have Oil. All they have is Portharcourt. Other Igbo speaking people such as Egbema, Omuma, Etche, Ekpeye, Ndoki, to mention a few, have a lot of Oil and its not likely they would have gone with a COR Region where they will be minority to Ijaw and Ibibio than to stay in the Eastern Region where would have been part of the majority Had COR Region been created, Oil and gas would never have been a problem for the Eastern Region. |

gidgiddy:Oga, you are one of the people attracting insults to Igbos on this forum. What is really wrong with you? The Ikwerres have stated they aren't Igbos, why forcing them to what they don't want to be. Ikwerres are never Igbos so they should remain so! The same Ikwerre governor sent soldiers to murder Igbos and had clarified where is allegiance is, and you're still repeating they are Igbos. How do you want people to see the possibility of Biafra breaking out of Nigeria when you're forcing those who don't want to be associated with it! Please you should mind yourself. |

BabaOwen:The minorities know those who are fighting tooth and nail for one Nigeria so they can keep all the stolen oil jobs they grabbed since 1966. It's not certainly the igbos who have enough oil and gas to carter for themselves. If you want to know the leaches, them parasites that are holding the minorities down, just count the regions that start trembling at the mention of the possible dissolution of Nigeria. I mean those regions that fear "independence" like rats fear snakes.. |
